Vinyl Labels and Vinyl Stickers: Are They Better than Paper?

While there are other substrate options available, in this post, we are going to look at some of the differences between vinyl labels and stickers versus paper. If you need more information to help determine what substrate option is best for your custom labels, please do not hesitate to contact us.

First, it’s important to note that we use vinyl that is safe for people, animals, and the environment. The vinyl we use is non-toxic, recyclable, waterproof, weatherproof, UV-resistant, tear-resistant, and scratch-resistant. While vinyl labels and vinyl stickers are slightly more costly than paper, the marginally higher cost is often worth it to many customers because of the benefits of using vinyl.

Some of the benefits are things that you may not even realize are important, including a vinyl label or sticker’s ability to peel off in one try instead of multiple pieces. While paper stickers and labels can look good when a laminate is applied, they are not nearly as durable as vinyl. If you’re looking for a label or sticker that is easy to cleanly remove when needed while also being incredibly long lasting and durable, vinyl is a better option than paper.
